Health Benefits of Dates.



Date fruits are usually seen in the northern region of Nigeria and many tropical regions of the world. Dates grow on trees called "date palms" . Dates are very nutritious and have so many health benefits.

Some of the health benefits of dates fruits are listed below:

Improves digestion.

May promote brain health.

Natural sweetener.

High in Fiber.

Relieves constipation.

May promote natural labor.

May enhance libido.

Eating too many dates can make you gain weight, because 70% comes from sugar. Dates are rich in iron and dietary fiber. It is ideal to have 100 g of dates daily to get all the essential nutrients. Dates can be eaten at any time of the day, eating dates early in the morning can give your body the energy boost needed to function correctly. Date also helps with bowel movement and prevents you from constipation.



How to enjoy dates.

1.Dates can be used as a  substitute for sugar. Get some dried date fruit and remove the hard seed inside it, blend and put in a closed tight container, this can be used for pap, tea, custard, oats and so on.

2.Dates juice is easy to make either from fresh or dried dates. Wash and blend with water, sieve out and put inside a refrigerator to cool for more enjoyment.

3.Dates Tiger Nut and Coconut have been proven by people in the northern area of Nigeria that it enhances libido and boosts the immune system. This combo is very easy to make.

1 cup of tiger nuts.

1 coconut and 100g of dates or as you deem fit.

Break the coconut, set the water aside and cut into small pieces, take out the seeds in the dates and wash all 3 combos. After washing, put into a blender, add the coconut water + cold water, blend and sieve.  

For me, dates also improve my mood sometimes, it is funny but that is the truth.
